The NBS trucks cause us a heck of a headache at work for UHF radios. Even the NNBS trucks! The Alternators sucks as far as AC Ripple (alternator whine). We use a combonation of Filters, relocating grounds, moving power leads from the post near the battery to the accual battery, replacing the Alternator... Bassicly name it. It depeneds on where the source is comming from; which we use a multimeter to track down. I would start with regrounding the HU and adding a filter to both the main power feed and accy feed. Just make sure to keep your grounds as short as you can and to a good ground source.

I replaced alternator ran the power straight to battery, grounded the engine to the chassis, and the battery to the chassis, grounded the deck at the passenger kick panel, even relocated a couple other grounds all to the same spot tested out as a great ground, etc... As soon as I lost that blows amp it was quiet as hell... no more whine. i am in heaven

No pac on this one... Bypasses the blows. Also you will need to wire in a chime.. I havent gotten around to it but dont really care for it too much. I have it though..
