Take it as a learning experience. I did, and now I look at ship dates and if it’s in stock before I hit the pay button, which tells me if they actually have it or are a third or fourth party seller. There’s a LOT of companies out there that take your money and then buy from another company. They don’t actually carry any stock on hand, it’s way cheaper to do business that way.
Absolutely! I’ve even experienced several companies who show in stock, take your money, and then a month or more later, tell you either they can’t get it, or it’s going to take many months.

When you shop with a reputable company like Summit, you should be able to believe it when they say it’s in stock and when it will ship.

Great advice Mark, thx. I could've sworn it said it was in stock.
It probably was, at whatever company they were buying it from. Maybe they’re ordering from Summit and it has to ship to Carid first but even that wouldn’t take a month. Oh I get it...they have to pay their bill at Summit before Summit will ship to them and they need a bunch more people to front them money for parts before they have enough to do that. Like I said, look at both in-stock and ship date. If they don’t show an anticipated ship date or if it’s weeks from the time you order, to me that means it’s in stock somewhere else. In this case it’s probably some supplier they owe money to. I doubt it’s somebody like Summit but you never know.

That makes total sense. I swear on my Hoe that I'll never order from them again!

Do

My advice is don’t ever give that company your money again. Summit has those in stock, says they would ship tomorrow for about the same price. Carid..good luck. And if you cancel they take a month or two to refund you. Sorry I’m too late to warn you buddy.
Thanks for the heads up there! [emoji106]Was looking at stuff from there. Imagine how long it would take to get to me[emoji849]
