Yes indeed that is the problem with these Rigs in the Northeast the vehicles rustaway before they go mechanically I'm sure I have room to move on the price a bit any Rig I find here in the northeast are going to have some signs of rust somewhere I or I should say my bodyman will help me diagnose how much and to what extent. They can be found without any but they are hard to come by.My Yukon is in pretty good shape body wise other than the rocker starting to show some surface rust on the rocker it has no other spots and the undercarriage and frame is in pretty good shape. When I got the Yukon I did get it from an older Gentleman who was very meticulous about it,they are hard to come by over here without any rust at all I will just have to inspect it real good see what i'm dealing with rust wise and take it from there!

I'm looking forward to going to see it just not sure what its going to look like when I get there pictures can only show you so much.

I can be patient my Yukon is still running good but little annoying things are starting to go on it so I decided to move on from it,its approaching 200k so I really don't wan to sink any further money into it I'd rather look for something I can start fresh on with lower miles hopefully this one is in good enough shape I'll have to wait and see I'll keep you posted!

Wow thats clean ,I thought my Yukon was clean you would never find something that clean here in the Northeast! The Northeast kills these great Rigs with the rust.

The Beltway of Doom for any vehicle they rust away before the engine fails!

I have an 07 Yukon XL Denali with the 3:42 rear and 6.2L motor. I ran 275/60x20 tires (33" overall diameter) with no tire rubbing or overall performance issues. I then converted to 305/50x20 tires (32" overall diameter) with no tire rubbing or overall performance issues.

Regardless of which rear gear ratio or tire diameter that you run, a tune (in my case, a Black Bear Performance tune) will provide you the best performance increase for the dollars spent, and it will allow you to select a tire diameter of your choice, and still have the speedometer read correctly.

I live in the Northeast, so washing the truck frequently in the winter is a must, in order to keep rust to a minimum.

Sounds like it. I recently changed my dash cluster to an Escalade type design that has the transmission temp gauge on it. I told the Digital Dash Solutions guys what mileage to put on it. By the time the new cluster got here I had them set the mileage at 135,000 and my old cluster said 135,113 miles. No one is gonna complain about 113 miles.

Top pic is of the new cluster and then the second one is installed.

Thanks Ron you guys are great on here I’m sure I’ll be on again real soon as soon as I can track down another potential they are tough to come by but I’ll keep plugging away!

I messaged the guy with the Tahoe telling him I’m passing on it after I got the car fax I’m yet to hear back from him not sure if I will!
