I would recommend a penetrating oil like Aerokroil or PB Blaster instead of WD-40.
Actually I saw a test somebody linked here and Aerokroil did worse than PB Blaster, and WD40 did slightly better than PB Blaster at loosening rusted bolts. I’ve been using WD40 forever and find it works at least as good as PB plus it’s good for lots of other stuff.

SO...transmission has to go back to the shop again, shifts real nice if I get on it at 3k or more, at lower rpms around 2k it's flaring on me intermittently, not a big deal I know they will take care of it appears to be some kind of gremlin. just annoying.

So this will be twice back after the rebuild? That’s not promising I have to say. :mad:Hopefully they figure it out so you don’t keep having issues, probably something simple.

He said they will get it dialed in were married now lol, they just have to find the gremlin
it pulls pretty nice if I give it full pedal I have only taken it up to about 120 since I got it back last time but she gets there nicely but piddle ******* around at 2000rpm it does wierd shit. so it seems to maybe be pressure related? I don't know

After my seized head bolts disaster on my outboard I threw my PB Blaster in the trash, totally useless, stinks, makes a mess. @07Burb not sure he is having any luck with a seized bolt on his truck he is fighting right now either.:mad:
