cars and coffee was a no go, what a disaster. gate opened at 9, racing started at 11 was the schedule.
im up pretty early anyway, so i dick around till about 7:30 figured id go grab some breakfast and head over there about 8:30. by 830 the line to get in the place i like 2 miles long. i'm like eh i'm good, dont car much about the car show i'll let the initial rush die down and head back over about 10:30....1030 rolls around and this place has the road leading up to the track backed up like 5 miles in either direction . so i really wanted to do some racing so i waiting about 10-15 mins, line was steady moving slow but moving. then it just stopped, and stopped, and stopped. finally i said **** it and rode the "green lane" all the way up to the entrance cause i am still in something that isnt an inch off the ground. shit just wasnt moving, come to find out they quit letting people in about 11 cause it was to capacity. so no racing for me :(

this junk is still pushing water out into the overflow tank (water bottle) i think theres just too much backpressure between the turbo and the crossover/log style manifold. only seems to blow out when im turnt up 20+psi. ive bled and bled, put 50psi on the coolant system and nothing but a couple rips and it fills the overflow up. soooo i kinda took lot of it apart lol, was thinking about trying to retorque the head studs but i gotta get down to pulling the rockers/stands etc anyway i think im just going to pull the heads and swap the head gaskets and be done with it. pulled the turbo, exhaust manifolds, downpipe out...blow outs around most exhaust ports, had the turbo side decked flt, the driverside ive never pulled it since first putting it on, all bolts were tight

and since i was bored i wasnt too worried about taking this much apart because flow tech headers came today... theyre pretty cheap but couldnt find exactly how far off the engine and how forward they sit. some people were sayin "just cut em off where ya need them". i only pulled the passenger side out and just held it up but they stuck way too far forward and end up being about 4" from the fans.... so back to summit they go.

these; thought about talking to my guy and seeing if if would be easier to cut off forwrd tube on each side (1&2) and route it back a little and cut the entire collector back a couple inches but the tubes werent quite lined up to go into the collector figured it would be more hassle than its worth
