My wife has a 05 yukon denali with the 6.0l, the oil pressure has been running really low but truck was running fine. I replaced the oil pressure sensor about 2 years ago and I thought that was the issue. I replaced it again and still ran fine. 2 nights ago it stalled out on her and she got it running again but limped it home. Now I can hear the clanking in the front so figured the oil pump is bad. Got everything needed start taking it apart and spent 6 freaking hours trying to get the harmonic balancer/crank bolt out and CAN NOT GET IT TO BUDGE. I've heated it, I've used my impact on it, I've used my breaker bar with a cheater pipe and nothing. I even tried bumping the engine over with the bar on it and still nothing. I'm at a freaking loss here. Can anyone please give me a way to get this damn thing out. I've exhausted everything I know other than swapping the entire damn engine. Thank you in advance for any and all help.

What's your impact setup- compressor CFM, air hose and fitting sizes, etc.?

Might need a bigger impact and try a few hits in both directions before hammering it in reverse. I've always been able to get 'em off with my old IR impact with just cranking the inlet psi up to 125ish and letting it beat it loose. It takes a few seconds, but it'll crack it.

I have a craftsman 1/2 drive impact, I also have the same impact you used. Neither did it. My compressor is a 21 gallon tank running it at 120psi. With just the standard fitting and hose. I'm actually about to go buy a 3/4 drive impact and hope that does it. Thank you for the response.

I got quite a bit more power out of mine by switching to the 1/4" "High Flow" coupler and fittings. They're almost the ID of a 3/8" coupler. I have a 3/8" hose. That 3/4" impact may not do much more if it can't get the volume and pressure to it. For the $10 investment, I'd definitely swing by Harbor Freight to try the high flow fittings.

I actually ended up going with the 3/4 impact and a new 1/2 line. I'm hoping this works.
