Hello all,
I am new to Z71 but not to suburbans, Yukons or 4x4's. I am however new to IFS. This lift has no apparent markings. There is 6" between the factory brachet/framework bolt and the lift bracket bolt below. I am guessing it is a 6" lift? I also don't know what to buy for new shocks. Lengthwise. I don't trust that the ones on it would neccesarilly be correct. Any help would be appreciated. Front end is also very loose. Not steering wise. Just "floaty". Almost like a boat. If that makes sense. Thinking new shocks and bump stops.

Thanks,

Welcome!

Huh, that's not a very tough-looking front drop bracket. As for shocks I always like to measure and find exactly what I need, it's simpler than it sounds here's a good link on how to measure. Then you can search for shocks by the brand you think you want and by the correct size.

Thanks for the info. I'll check it out. I thought the same with that bracket up front. I've always been in a Jeep when it comes to off-road so this big guy is new to me.
