Hope this is in right section. 2007 Chevy Tahoe 5.3 4wd LT. 4inch Rough Country lift an 305/70/17 Cooper AT3s... After going to the dealer 6 mos ago for all updates and what not, wheel bearing, etc. I have since had a battery drain. (door latch RAP I think fixed) but now after charged up the battery and take it for a drive the Speedo does not work. The Trans will not shift into 4rth. shifts 1,2 and 3 and that is it, no 4rth no Overdrive.... "Service 4wd/traction control" flashes where Odometer is, well as ""Parking assist Off". Leaving from a stop it will not get out of its own way unless I shift down tho 1st manually and shift it.... Do I have to go back to dealer to have the TCM/ECU reprogrammed???
Any Help Would Be appreciated...

I don't know how this works, if it does, but I have seen several times where members here will tell you to take both battery cables off the battery, wait for about 30 seconds, touch the cable ends together and then reinstall the cables on the battery. Stranger things have happened. You may still have to take back to dealer.

Well, funny thing is I did all the easy and cheap(er) fixes, new 4wd switch, new brake switch, new axel actuator. So I really believe it is the TCCM after reading all the old posts again. (I posted like in 2017 when this all started) and I am going to take out the TCCM and replace it. I really think that's it. Ill Post if it works. P.S. and just for good measure i will touch the Pos and Neg. lol

Whenever I see multiple warnings/lights, my first step is to disconnect the battery for 30 minutes, to let everything power down and discharge. Like a computer, sometimes you just need to let it re-boot.

Then, I check for loose battery cables and grounds.

Thanks Burbs, I do have a winch on her and lots of added cables probably 7 or 8 years ago. I will check them all as soon as it warms up. Thanks.

Update on my 2007 Tahoe So I had trouble with transmission staying in 3rd gear no DIC and when I scan it message “lost contact with TCM”.
Well I am at fault for trying to use an old Diablo SW updates so I got on AC delco websight and pugged my vin in and it told me that my dealer had updated my truck to 22 inch wheels ( which I do not have. I have 17 inch with 305 70 17 Cooper alt3). So I am getting a vxdiag to try and reprogram what they did last update
... I should admit defeat but I refuse!!!!
