But first check if it will clear also fan :)

I thought the old small blocks with iron heads does not have hardened valve seat.
With LPG the problematic were some heads from 2003 year with bad casting.
Mine were on LPG for 10y, so hope for no damage :(

But yeah, after tune I got almost same MPG as I have in WJ Grand Cherokee. And now with cheaper fuel in EU, I have not used LPG for almost a year.
Hahah yes I will. If the product is here, it will be worth a lot haha.

Na the 5.7 do better on LPG, but maybe I talk about the older 350's, out of the 80s for example. But I don't know that stuff yet. LPG is very cheap here in NL, 60ish cent per liter and 98 is €1,60ish. But will drive motorcycle more to compensate. And upgrading will cost like 800 and deleting 400. Then I will try to sell the parts.

Well my LPG guy said he knew about the 5.3 head issues. But he didn't mention which years. I believe since the 2003 flexfuel version they have hardened valves... but not sure mate

Tube for mechanical fan has narrower shape to clear fan shroud.
I've done some picture research but and some other forums but it's actually the other way around. The Airaid for mech is indeed made to clear the shroud, but also goes higher, just like the OEM MIT. I can obviously cut the shroud but the blades of the fan are very close to that and I think those will be in the way to be able to fit the Airaid for e-fans. All though everybody says it doesn't really matter, and I could keep using the mech version when swapping to e-fans.....but.... if the mech version would be optimal, they wouldn't made a one for the e-fan. Could be also marketing but on the outside they a really different, and I can imagine in the inside as well. So I think it's better to wait until I found a e-fan and then go with the Airaid 200-919. Good way to test my patience, haha.

And luckily they didn't cut in my car for the LPG valve, it just comes out at the back, would not be allowed anymore now but because of the installation year I don't have problems with the APK(MOT)! But I already starting driving on gasoline now, just waiting for money to let a shop delete the system and make the wiring stock again :) Will lose a lot of weight also then, and less weight is more speeeed

I have the smaller radiator as mentioned. But read stories about the LS1 Corvette 1998+ those fans fit the smaller radiator? So was browsing ebay and came acros this: Would this not be a option, maybe with some custom fitment I'm not afraid for... https://www.ebay.de/itm/Engine-Cool...368056&hash=item5468b0fdf6:g:0ocAAOSwvspbgXMf

What ya guys reckon? This is affordable with shipping and taxes. There are more similar fans available in different price ranges on ebay.. And will this work with a Tahoe wire tree or can I use the LS1 wire set?

If that's what is designed to fit your radiator, then I don't see why not. Worst case is you'll have to use the Tahoe fan harness and splice on the correct plug ends for those fans or make the LS1 fan harness fit the Tahoe.

Well it's a little difficult to figure out. But when I just got the Tahoe, the radiator broke. I then found one in the Netherlands, replacement for Silverado/Avalanche/Suburban. Just when starting installing, me and my mate saw that the radiator was smaller so like wth. But then we found out there also fits a smaller radiator in the Tahoe, fitting the OEM smaller bracket holes. Only thing we had to do was cut he fan shroud for the hoses. And I already watched some e-fan conversion video's. They all have the OEM size radiator. And you see the e-fan will come in between all the hoses. So that means a OEM size e-fan won't fit.

Let me find some photo's if I've them:

Temperatures are holding fine, even in the 2018 summer, which was one of the hottest summers since 100 year.

Can't find my cutted fan shroud but I think you will understand it. Normally the hoses are also outside the fan-shroud, but mine where now inside so had to gut some pieces out for the hoses.

Here in this video he has small RAD and small efans(maybe from corvette):

Or use this:

Or do it "redneckstyle", just screw into radiator fins, i think some Skoda, or old french cars has it like that :)

Sorry mistake in translation, we still have her, in may she will be 4years old.
**** somehow I ended up seeing an other video then this one. Just saw this video, and got the answer to my own question. This will do fine!! So come on Dutch people, buy my stuff from the marketplace so I can do mods hahah
