If they would just come out and say why it is delayed, I can live with that but it just still keeps saying "In Transit".

@PNW VietVet Yep, after browsing through the whole thread a new cluster with trans temp gauge is definitely in my future. My 06 duramax and 04 Silverado SS spoiled me by having them from the factory!

Low and behold, on a holiday the USPS delivered this to me today. I opted for the regular white back lighting with white needles and the silver centers for the needles. So nice to see that transmission temp gauge in the lower left corner. I am at 134992 miles on my old odometer and I had them set the new mileage at 135000. I will be installing within a month so my mileage should be very close.

@Fless gave me this link: https://www.fixmygauges.com/ and then I went there and contacted them and when I got it all today the billing says the company name is

Digital dash Solutions, LLC and the email to contact them is [email protected]. Very easy and straight forward to deal with. I was given a large list of backlighting choices, needle colors and stem colors. The cost is $250 and comes with a 1 year warranty. The warranty automatically bumps up to a lifetime warranty when you send the old cluster back to them. They send you a return sticker and you call Fed Ex at a 1-800 number and schedule the pickup. You fill out a form they supply you and you keep the top half and receipt for your records. They tell you to install the cluster and drive for a week before you send back the old cluster, to make sure everything is working ok. You give them your VIN and what mileage to set the new cluster at. They warn you not to lie about the mileage. They are in Brooklyn, CT 06234

If all works like it should, I will be very happy with the cost and the way business is done.

I just received an item at work that I ordered on December 3rd. It was sent USPS First Class from Missouri to Iowa and it took 5 weeks to get from Earth City, MO to Elk Grove Villiage, IL (because that's the shortest route from Missouri to Iowa:confused:) and then another week to get from Elk Grove Village to Davenport, IA. Absolutely unbelievable.

Funny thing is that my bills seem to get through to me lickity split!

When I buy something on Amazon or wherever and it says that it is being shipped via USPS, I just double the timeline in my head and if the delivery beats that, I just feel relieved it got there at all. I had a part coming from Amazon and was supposed to be delivered on Monday. I am off on Monday. I was working on a friends vehicle all day outside where I live. The part was big enough that could not be put in the mailbox so I knew would have to come to my door. The part never showed and the excuse on USPS site said could not deliver because no one was home. That was a bald face lie. I was there, outside, all day long. My friend and I never left the facility. I confronted my USPS mail person. She said she was not on that route the day before. I told her never ever tell me who was the delivery person that day, Monday, because he/she would start crying because of what I wanted to say to them.
