After a long wait, the whipple has finally arrived. Taking care of a few supporting items first and wanted to know what fuel pumps people are using? OEM pump has over 230k miles on it so it will be replaced before the install. Obviously the oem one has worked great so I was planning on buying an oem replacement but if there is a better tested option. For now, boost will remain low (7-8psi) so a stock replacement should work fine.

2007 tahoe ltz flex fuel. Recently installed gm 5.3 long block.

Tks for the suggestions....... and will provide updates on the install if anyone is interested

I know with mine, if the OEM fuel pump wasn’t capable they included one that is. My Denali had the higher rated pump but some of the Tahoe’s didn’t and the kit came with a different pump. And like stated the FlexFuel pump is rated higher so just go with an OEM replacement.

Yes, please keep us updated.

The picture of the Whipple gives me a bulge in my pants. Seeing it under the hood would turn out messy.
