welp...buddy was unable to have this thing take up room in his shop all day, something about "this is a legit business i cant just eff around with racetruck stuff all day" nonsense.
so he was able to vac it down, brought back home and installed pretty much everything, took the ac suction hose off and brought it back over to him to have a barb welded onto it so i can finish up the hoses.
after that itll be ready to go back with it and get the ac system recharged.

ive had this all fitted up for a few days now and i would have really of liked to do a few things differently.
right out of the condenser i would have liked to use a T piece to jump over to the chiller and placed the isolation solenoid further up stream on the hardline going toward the cabin. doing this roundy round loop annoys me but i just couldnt really find any fittings to make it work.

Shit like those buttons drives me crazy, they’re right in front of your face every time you drive. I can’t understand why GM couldn’t make them last. There’s a few things on the NNBS like that- the dash cracks, those buttons, door handles that break...:mad::mad:
When I was shopping for my NNBS that was one of the things my wife pointed out every time. Stupid buttons.

Bookmarking this post for the next time someone someone says anything about how the aluminum heater Ts require too many clamps occupying a small space.

lol, that is part of my gripe about this install. it is easy, and as close to "bolt on" that you can get...but it really could be done so much more efficiently.
