Well guys, my radiator finally gave out. I recently changed out the water pump and fan clutch. Also fixed a engine oil cooling line leak. Well today in the morning I started my XL to move it forward and a bunch of coolant spilled out form the driver side. Anyone have a spot to buy oem AC DELCO radiators. It has a aftermarket one now. Don't want to put another aftermarket in. Any info would be really appreciated.

Call your local GM dealer and give them your VIN number, and ask them for a price and the part number for the correct OEM radiator replacement. Then, with the correct part number, you can shop around for an OEM replacement. Lots of folks here use Rock Auto and GMPartsDirect.

Thank you just put in the order. Not as expensive as I thought it would be.

Glad I could help. Once you start ordering parts from them you will get emails with 5% discount codes to use in the future. I think you can even use one on your first ever order with them. Contact them at the site where you can ask about your order number and ask if can use either of these two codes: 158394133131744462 or 159425139131744462 and make sure you tell them you are a Tahoe/Yukon forum member.

The first code is good till the 24th and the second code is good till the 31st.

They have a subforum in the site sponsor's forum here where they keep the discount codes updated. I think the current one is good 'til late February. Just copy and paste it into the "How did you hear about us?" bar when placing your order.

Well fellas. Rock Auto delivered my new ac delco radiator super fast. I swear it was in 24 hours. How? I don't know I didn't pay extra.

I replaced to old leaking one and I swear that my transmission is going thru the gears alot better. And stay ing cooler also. Is it just me,or can this really happen.

Transmissions like to run cooler than the engine, to a point. May be just wishful thinking though. The transmission runs cooler all by itself because there is no combustion chamber explosions going on inside there.

I'm thinking that the trans cooler inside the radiator was kinda plugged up. Because the trans is running a whole lot cooler now. I still haven't installed the 40k trans cooler .
