Yep see pics below. The picture of the elbow shows where it snapped off. The picture of the blower you can see the black where hose was rubbing on side of case. The lip circled in red i'm going to chop off and still hold hope this might work. Chopping that off wont fix all the issues, as it was side to side clearance that was the problem. So, I am also going to switch to an aluminum fabricated coolant tee and route my heater hose differently to see if i can make the clearance. I bought the heater tee today and had it priority mailed and going to buy a variety of 45* and 90* coolant elbows to try.

My swap parts are all from Andy @ Adm Performace. He said he hasn't had this issue before, however I also used his HE mounts and had to chop/modify/drill them to fit as they werent even close on my Yukon. Not sure if my car was built on a Friday or what

Interesting. If you had some pictures of it when you get it re-mounted that would be awesome. I’ve been casually researching whipple and LT4 options for when the warranty runs out!

Whipple told me this morning their gen 5 will be out for us in the next 3-6 months so you might be looking at a good time!

I went and threw the SC back in. Here’s the HUGE amount of clearance you get with the heater core inlet at the firewall.

That sucks. On my 02 it’s tight but not that bad. It’s a different design on my Whipple but it still isn’t the best. I want to replace those T’s since I didn’t think about it before installing the blower but they’re just in a bad place now. I figure if one breaks I’ll have no choice.
