As for the kid, he's helpful although not as obsessed with cars as I was at his age which is probably a good thing. He meets all our expectations plus he is frugal and keeps things nice so I know he will take care of it. Our deal with him is that as long as he keeps straight A's, keeps good company and stays focused on his goals we take care of the rest.

I bought the '71 when I was 14 with lawn mowing money, Dad and I spent the next few years making it nice again. That was 25 years ago this summer. That's my wife and I on the way to Prom. Here are the other current garage children.
