I have a 2011 Tahoe which has absolutely 0 bass in the sound....supposedly the 21 Yukon has a subwoofer somewhere. Those that have a 21 Yukon, is there any bass to the audio, or is pretty flat? I sat in a 21 briefly and played something with the doors open and I didn't hear much bass at all... compared to my wife's Volvo which has a subwoofer, it actually has a nice thump.

Pretty flat IMO. The bass output was nothing substantial compared to the bass output of the door speakers. Ended up adding an after market sub to mine. Check out the “Aftermarket Sub” thread in this forum.

Anything factory will be flat compared to anything aftermarket. That being said, my Tahoe premier has the 10 speakers Bose (compared to 9 speakers on lower trims) and it has more bass than any factory system I've ever heard. I'm not sure if that 10th speaker is a sub or what but the whole system sounds great.

I have a 21 Yukon SLT with the basic Bose system. It sounds pretty good to me. I had to turn base way down for my liking. However, coming from a 19 Ram Laramie with the 19 speaker Harmon Kardon system it doesn't compare...

I have mine set at +4 bass and +4 trebile and have cranked it way up without any distortion. From my previous experience, most upgraded factory sound systems are a gimmick, especially anything by JBL, but im very happy with this Bose setup.

Everybody's preferences are different regarding how much or how little bass is preferred. My recommendation to you is to consider adding a sub and amp to your system, if you want significantly more bass output.

I have the 9 speaker Bose (10 speaker adds center channel) and it has a small sub in the center console. It’s muddy and lacks definition. It’s just not good audio system but I’ll change it all out soon enough.

Have the 21 Denali ultimate - can confirm it does have a dedicated subwoofer in the rear driver side and it’s not too bad. Sounds like a 6” or 8”. Might swap it out one day, but I can live with it for now.
