on the TD of the '19 Denali Short the 6.2 and 10 spd drove like a dream. I had the 10 spd in my 18 Expedition Plat. Max, but just wasn't a fan of the TT6.

Just curious why you weren't a fan of the TT6 in your Expy. In addition to my Sierra Denali and my Tahoe, I have a TT6 Explorer Sport and I LOVE that engine, especially since I have it 5star tuned. My Explorer is only a 6 speed, I can't imagine it with the 10 speed.

I will call this a good thing at the moment. Right now I don't feel any difference with her 6.2 10 speed Tahoe and the 2015 6.2 8 Speed Sierra Denali. Having the lifetime powertrain warranty is the only way I would have taken a chance on this truck though !!!

Fuel update. 300 miles into the tank of 90 Octane no ethanol and i'm at 23 MPG mixed driving ( 43 MPH average ) all according to the DIC. I am driving up to 70 MPH on the expressway, and no full throttle starts. This behavior is not sustainable, I'm just curios what is possible with this setup.

I drove a rental expedition in Utah in October that had the TT6, it lagged. Big time. In my opinion at the end of the day a 6 cylinder engine just isn’t big enough to efficiently move the weight a full size SUV, even with the twin turbos. Now the explorer on the other hand, that’s a whole different story. I’ve driven several that belong to clients, and because they don’t weigh nearly as much as the expedition, the TT6 moves it like a rocket ship.... lol. They’re pretty damn quick and light on their feet.

The TT6 had some increased lag over my previous BMW X5, it did move the EXPY but just really like a V8 smooth and consistent power band. Also had the CAM phaser issues coming and with local dealer not really being one I wanted to work with I felt all in all time to get out.

Really only got the Expy b/c of comfort and space gained with IRS. I travel a lot and rent Tahoes when possible if the new model had come out in 2018, I would have gotten that. Now it is a $ factor so will go with high quality CPO when time to purchase.

Just wanted top know if RST gave anything impactful to ride other than 6.2 and MRS. Also wanted to know if MRS in RSt was sport tuned or just the same as from the standard Premier/Yukon set up.
