Here's what does I use remote start and goes in to reduce engine speed and the throttle doesn't work at all. So I shut it off with remote sequence to shut it off. Retighten battery post normally about 1/16th of a turn and restart all is good for another 3-5 months . Seems to when it's more humidity in the air like bit of fog . Anyone have any idea ? I'm in minnesota so it's lives in cold .and what this hanging off the negative cable ? e974c478471520a0e7b95ae7690b9f74.jpg

Is that controller 15263889 some sort of new fangled alternator controller?

It almost appears GM changed alternator system to only run when needed? I could be wrong, I just googled the part number on the side.

I would start with obvious if you have not already... Check grounds on motor, motppl r to chassis, alternator, etc.

I would also check to see what connection looks like on that controller. Clean it up if need be.

I don't have to unhook the battery to unhook and clean that plug do I ? It won't mess anything up will it ? It's HD charging 160 amp

I am not sure. I typically unhook the battery just to be safe.

Fiest place to check though is grounds when you have intermittent electrical (or control) problem.

that's the rvc sensor (regulated voltage control) and that would not be your throttle body problem, that sensor is not serviceable if it is in question just replace it or get a new ground cable it will come with a new sensor.

So your saying it's the module on the throttle body right .. Why when I retighten battery posts. It's good for another 3 months ..If I don't retighten battery cables . I just keep getting the reduce engine speed on the dic ..
Is that how the throttle body acts when it's going out ?

I think one I need to order doesn't come with a cable . Thats if that's a problem.

Can I just install the throttle module ..does it program it's self ?

I ordered a throttle module.. throttle body.
Is this the codes it throws ?
