When I looked up for my 14 denali awd.. I got the monroe 40048 w Z55 Susp
and the ACdelco # was 580-434
Hope this helps.. This would be the correct OE replacement... And retain
the factory Z55 active handling. Which is what I'll do when it's time.
I did the rear shocks last summer with the correct ACdelco air ride shocks

the Monroe 40049 is for trucks with z55 and 22's. I don't know why having 22's would matter

Yup.. That was the difference.. I have 20's..
And correct, I have NO idea why that would make any diff at all.. Seems weird

Yes.. Aftermarket.. You can still get the OEM gm ACdelco's... I would think the delcos
are maybe better.. the price is about the same.. Prob just depends on where/how you can get them

how can I find the right acdelco shock?
Can you still read the part # on the stickers?

I know I've seen the OE ones cross referenced by the spring RPO codes, which are usually the last 2 RPO codes on your glovebox sticker and start with a 6 and a 7.

On my RPO sticker, the front spring codes are the 6F1 and 7F1b0efb342be99102563ce80e3e45a5011.jpg

i know mine are 6g4 and 7g4 but for example when I try to look up the part number from the ones installed on my truck I come up with nothing. on the acdelco website based on my spring codes I come up with part #19420491 but when I put that part number into Google I come up with 2 items on ebay that I'm not sure about and an out of stock part on RockAuto.

I also see acdelco part #580-432 would fit but don't know what's the difference between that and #19420491
