Been watching this guy for a bit. Just amazing how much stuff is in there. Complex no doubt. He makes it look like a breeze.

Just watched that video tonight. That tool is $177! I've been collecting them for the day my transmission is due to be rebuilt.

His videos are great, he training up his son on the 6-speeds. While they are familiar with them, they do 4L60s blindfolded! Good man.

I actually have a pair of those snap ring pliers. I work on heavy equipment and some of the snap rings are huge in my field. Looks like I have all I need to build one. Too bad mine is already built.

I don't think I could ever build a transmission, way too many parts. Rather leave it to the professional like this guy. Problem is finding one local that knows what they are doing, Precision is in Texas, little too far for me.

The guys at Precision are a class act and definitely know their stuff. I live far away from them in Michigan but called with some questions about an issue that I have and they were very helpful and put me a ease.

After watching this video i made an appt. to repair my trans.by a respected trans shop, as it has never been right even after a GM rebuild but they did not replace the torque converter. It still vibrates as he mentions,so hopefully this will cure it.
