I have a 2015 Suburban LTZ 5.3. I noticed a bit of a slow crank now that it is getting colder so I elected to replace the battery. Note the burb was running fine and only replaced the battery as a precaution.

Replaced the Delco with a DieHard. After replacing the battery it will not start. Will not crank, no dash lights, door locks work and outside lights flash when locks are actuated with the FOB.

The red light on the top of the dash pad does flash.

I took pics of the power cable distribution terminals on top of the battery for re-installation and they are on correctly.

I would greatly appreciate any advice that can be provided.

The battery cables on the NNBS are known to corrode from the inside out and it’s hard to tell it’s happening unless you cut them in half so you can see. When you removed them from the old battery and put them on the new one it’s possible that disturbing them caused them to lose more conductivity. Look for any telltale signs at the ends, like corrosion seeping out or that you can see. You might just replace them as preventative maintenance and see if that fixes it.
