Ok, 08 LTZ hoe has Power, folding, signal, heated and Tinted on driver side.

pass side has everything but the tinted.
Do they make a tinted pass side that has all the same functions as driver?
Because it drives me a little nuts that one is tinted and one isn’t.
ive tried searching for parts and I’m not seeing that option.
Thanks guys.

Not available that I am aware of.

My '08 LTZ Burb is the same as yours.

The driver's side auto dimming feature should only be active at night when head lights are behind you.

If your's is "tinted" all the time then you have an issue.

If you don’t have any some window tint on the front windows it will help cut down on the glare.

I have tint, everything works fine...
just want both mirrors to match.
I like the look of a uniformed appearance.... symmetrical!
Even in the day time you can tell any car has a auto dim mirror. They look different.
I don’t wear socks that don’t match.
Nothing broken or glare.
simple question. Do they make a pass side tinted mirror?
Thanks and Happy hump day from UPS!
I’m about to go work 14hrs and get everyone there car parts!

Again, not that I'm aware of... unless the Escalade had that as an option.

If you want them to match that bad you may have to install a mirror glass without auto dimming in the drivers mirror so it will match the passenger side.

Maybe some of the other guys can verify whether the Esky had auto dimming on the passenger side mirror...

The glass on mine look identical, one has a piece of trim going around it and the other doesn't. That's it. Your eyes are better then mine. If the need arises, I will wear two different colored socks! LOL

I know what youre seeing. I see it in mine too and its from the auto dimming feature. When I park in the garage and the headlights come on in startup, the drivers mirror is tinted/kinda green looking while the passenger mirror is clear. As soon as Im out of the garage and the sun hits, the auto lights go off and the mirror turns clear to match the passenger side. Its supposed to be like that

All 3 vehicles I've had (2001, 2011, 2012) had the auto dim option and only the driver's side and rearview mirrors dimmed.

Probably by design. For starters, from a driver's safety viewpoint, bright lights behind/to the passenger side reflect more onto the passenger's face and not blinding the driver.

Also, in most states, it's technically illegal to pass on the right, so bright lights from behind right shouldn't be a problem. I know, with multi lane highways nowdays many pass on the right.
