Hot Shot's Secret 32oz Bottle Of Transmission Stiction Eliminator

I tend to shy away from additives John. Right now I'm running ACDelco oil and picked up about a quarter mpg and the motor no longer rattles on start up as it did when using plain Mobil One. I also run ACDelco Dexron VI transmission fluid, changing it out every 36K or so from now on after having had it analyzed. I know a guy that documented a 1 mpg increase in fuel economy by switching to Red Line transmission fluid. His name is Grumpy Bear over at the GM-Trucks forum.

The other mod you might want to do is get rid of the thermostat on the side of your thermostat. The 6L80s don't seem to last as long in the K2s (yours) compared to the previous generation (mine) and we surmised it is because of the thermostat. We don't have one. Why run the trans at 195 degrees if you don't have to?
