after we got back from dinner found out UPS had came and dropped off the running boards.....
well sort of I received 2 running boards not in a box, loose one has a big long scratch on it, there wrapped in plastic and a very thin foam padding, I am assuming UPS ****** up the original box and just decided to deliver these, no mounting brackets and no bolts probably takes about 40 bolts
:893Chainsaw-Smilie-:893Chainsaw-Smilie-:893Chainsaw-Smilie- kinda pretty pissed off because if I don't catch the manufacture in office tomorrow I probably wont have replacements on the way till next week at best and then another week of waiting.
******* UPS wasn't supposed to deliver them until tomorrow I had already called and scheduled the delivery so I would be here because I knew I was going to be gone today.
Your UPS guy SUX!! You always seem to have issues with those dummies.

ya they were supposed to be here Monday so I called Monday morning to confirm and the local yard said they had a delay in Sacramento so they would be here tomorrow so I asked her if she could schedule them for Wednesday 1-6 because today wasn't going to work, but.....nope

I’ve had UPS screw up a delivery or two as well. Not the best thing to happen to you especially when they get it wrong...hope you can get in touch with the manufacturer for the hardware.

I hope they will just send a complete replacement, I didn't pay for a new scratched product I realize it's going on a truck and shit is going to happen but that's on me, I haven't fully unwrapped them I am assuming there is going to be edge scratches all over from them being slid around on the floor of the shipping truck as well.

I bought these running boards thru auto-accessories (a sponsor on here) not a peep from them thus far
I looked up the manufacture last night on the internet from the info that was on the shipping invoice and found some interesting info. I had originally shopped these online and then went by 4wheel parts to see if I could order thru them because they had a special for free install but they told me the brand I wanted had went out of business so I went ahead and just bought them online. turns out the brand was picked up by another company when I looked them up last night. So anyway I called them and they were pretty on the ball I just sent them over some pictures and I should hopefully have a replacement set shipped out today.

that was fast Raptorseries just emailed me and said replacements are on the way today and I can keep the damaged running boards. which is cool because the grip steps look ok and I can save those for when the finish wears off and keep the steps looking fresh down the road. Hopefully the next set arrives in good condition there using UPS again. :hmm:

They must have filed an insurance claim on UPS so they’re getting paid for both sets anyway. Good for you. :)

yes I sent them about 10 pictures for the claim, I also called the local ups to see if they happened to have the brackets and bolts sitting somewhere in a truck I could use those as spares also he said he would get back to me by the end of the day I figure it's a shot in the dark
