I ordered the ppv air dam from GMpartsnow on Thursday and got it this morning (Saturday). Although this part is damn near $400 on its own, I couldn’t pass up the shipping of this site compared to others. $29 vs $290?! I installed it today and love how it looks in addition to the additional clearance.

Is GM Parts now the best pricing for the PPV air deflector part: 23365760?

JUST cut the OEM with a cut off disk still attached to the truck. You guys are crazy to pay 300$ for cut plastic.

Sawzall and a steady hand worked great for me. I agree the cost of this silly thing is utterly laughable.

Haha was just reading through some of these. It's really simple to cut the lower air dam while it's on the vehicle. Just roll it up on some ramps and use a dremel. I had put some blue painters tape above where i planned to cut in advance and just free-handed it and it came out great. Don't fear f'ing it up - it'll turn out fine. Just be sure you measure how low you want on each side first and let the dremel walk itself through. no stress. good luck. A guy could also make a very light cut with an xacto or box cutter and gradually cut deeper and easily bend/break it off too. Sand the rough edge with your dremel or by hand after and it'll come out great - have confidence in yourself

Absolutely agree with that ^ I did it on my Escalade a week or two ago and I was definitely afraid I was gonna eff it up (even though I pride myself as being fairly handy). Came out great. Just measure before you cut and take your time

what is your preference...i am starting with the lower wings for now, then possibly shortening to the mid way relief line

The lower wings keep it off the curbs. That’s plenty enough for me at this point.
