Kbuskill. I figured it out. I had 2 connectors from the maestro RR crossed. Once I made the correction. Everything worked great. The Kenwood head unit sounds way better than the Rosen I had before. Tomorrow ill tap into the video wires for the reverse camera. So it can show up on my stereo. Thanks for all your help. Greatly appreciated.

I bought mine from Ebay... just make sure they use a light blocking vinyl or else the light will show through where it isn't supposed to.

kbuskill, 1 last question. to keep the factory USB in my center console. I need to get the mini adapter cable to be able to connect the USB wire of my stereo to the OEM USB cable from the Tahoe right? A local stereo shop is telling me that I should be able to connect the stereo USB cable directly to the cable in the Tahoe right underneath the cup holders in the center console. He said I wont need that adapter cable.

My truck is an '08 which was before they started putting the USB in the console or dash.

I added the factory USB port to my dash and bought a cable that fit the back of it to hook up to my HU.
