I think you'll be happy that you got OEM components over the aftermarket "rebuilt" units. The extra money is worth the peace of mind in my opinion.
Agreed. When I bought my rear shocks from Arnott they had the option of new air shocks built by Bilstein but those aren’t available anymore. They don’t have the electronic damping but work great. OEM would have been my choice except for the price at $300+ each.

Did you try to command the new pump on with the tech2? I had a faulty ride height sensor in the rear, replaced and all senors seem to be within voltage, but i can’t make the pump come on with the trch2, but the pump will run with key on and air up as needed. The release solenoid I can hear click but don’t hear any air escaping. Is that normal?
Just following up here on your question. I tried to get the pump to come on using the tech2's compressor test menu item but either I'm not using it correctly, or it doesn't work the way one might think it would. Either way, I don't seem to be able to command the pump to come on or trigger a self-test cycle with the tech2, but it's working properly at startup and when the level sensors detect a need to raise the rear end.

When you command it to come on with the Tech2, you will hear the pump running. You can also watch the pressure change on the screen as it increases. It sounds like your pump is defective or is not getting power.

The pump is working perfectly, so it's more likely user error with the Tech2 in my case.

the key has to be in the run position, when you are in the menu it will show you the air pressure, commanded state, etc that was one of the ways I found out one of the arnott pumps I had was bad it would show say 12psi and then jump all over and show 180psi and back to 14psi etc, it was really screwy and not working right.

I was thinking he didn’t have the key on but figured he knew that. Is that the situation Dave @Geotrash ?

Thank you both! Nothing wrong with making sure the basics are right. I'm old enough to have made enough silly mistakes to be humble about such things. :) Yes, I had the key in the "run" position without the engine running. My guess is I was in the wrong menu area. I'll go out a little later and take a screenshot of what I've been looking at.

So here's the pathing I followed and will attach a screenshot of the Tech2 to this message as well.

Ignition key to Run but do not start engine.

Chassis --> Electronic Suspension Control --> Special Functions --> Compressor Test --> Command State --> On.

There is no pressure reading available in the list and the compressor doesn't come on, though it runs through its self-test like normal when I turn the ignition on.
