I s’pose nobody could tell me which trans cooling line is the supply and which one is the return at the radiator, could they?

I’ve got it all jacked up and I don’t want to put it in gear and rev the engine to test.

The lower line going into passenger side of radiator is coming from the transmission.
Top line goes out to auxiliary trans cooler, then the other line coming from auxiliary trans cooler runs back to transmission

Okie dokie...I used a tin snips to cut the old transmission cooling line and put it into this bendable drain towards my catch bucket and started the truck (I’m doing a trans fluid change as well). Only took a few seconds to extract the fluid by starting the truck (I may have run the pump dry but oh well. 
I then disconnected the line from the radiator and wiggled it out so that I could cut the aluminum end off.
Here’s the part that I cut off...
Used a small flat head to pry it open:

I used a small Black and Decker Rotary tool with a small cutoff wheel being careful not to cut into the aluminum pipe...
I was then able to pull it apart:
Cleaned the end up nicely and slid the new 3/8 hose on up to the ridge (I couldn’t get it over the ridge like in the video, but I don’t believe it will leak):
I will clamp it together tightly and it should be good to go.

Upon closer examination of the old pipe I noticed that it didn’t seem to be damaged at all and in good shape which makes me wonder if the outer aluminum clasp simply loosened over the years. I have lots more of these type fittings that all seem to be leaking so for now I’m simply going to clamp the aluminum down better to see if that solves the problem instead of going through all this hassle. Will post results when I receive my small clamps...

My hose clamps have not arrived yet, so that’s why you don’t see any yet.
