On a recent hunting trip, I found the shortfalls to stock location 6000k lighting when going through sweeping turns or around corners on and off road. The illumination where they are aimed is fine, just not wide enough. The primary use would be off road at relatively low speed. The options I'm considering are fogs in the stock locations (I have none) or a light bar or spot lights behind the grill.
I like the idea of something in the stock fog location because I could use them on road as well, but I'm not sure it would be high enough or wide enough to, for example: see roadside hazards such as wildlife, etc.
I know a light bar or a couple of cubes behind the grill would be a superior overall option, but would prefer something stealthier or better looking than a single light bar.
I guess both options are on the table as well. I've read some of the lighting threads on this and other sites, I'm but hoping to gather more info before making my decision.
If you've done a fog upgrade, are you happy with the beam width? Has anyone tastefully added cubes behind the grill? Any comments or pics are welcome.
