On the off chance that someone here on TYF is local and interested....

Local to the Denver, Colorado metro area and the Front Range (Cheyenne to Pueblo). Will not ship. Asking $440 for the set.

Goodyear Eagle LS-2
Set of four
Size: 225/55R18
Speed rating: 97H
Manufactured in the fourth and fifth weeks of 2019
Treadwear rating: 400
Temp rating: A
Traction rating: A

A friend of mine -- OK, if you need to know it's my former spouse's partner -- asked me to sell these for him. He bought them in March 2019 and had them on his Lexus for one summer (April to September), with not a lot of miles. He put snow tires on the car in October, then traded it in a few months ago.

Full disclosure: one of them has been patched in the center of the tread, done professionally at a BMW dealer. The other three have no patches, and all four are in excellent shape. No abnormal wear, no scuffing, no cupping, and they balanced fine on the Lexus.

Not many cars run that size. I know this because I'm always keeping an eye out for a set of take-offs for Jenn's car and the closest I find everywhere is a slightly undersized 225/50R18, which she's running now. I'd be interested if we were closer.

Can you say what style patch it was? Just a regular vulcanizing glue patch or a plug style patch done with vulcanizing glue and an inside plug style ?

I'm not sure what they call them, but it has about a 2" patch inside with a plug through the thickness of the tread. Pretty sure they're one-piece construction with the patch integrated with the plug. It's a very neat job.

Road trip? LOL

Yeah, they're fairly uncommon so I hope that someone around here will need and want them.

Finally, sold these, $300. Our overnight winter weather must have prompted the guy to get them.

Everybody's happy. :elephant:

Such a good feeling. Good timing, too, since I cleaned out the other side of the garage on Friday so I could get the Hoe back in there, and these were in the way. Now that the big work is done on the deck I won't need the garage space for that.
