What do you think of them. How are they in the rain? Harsh ride?
I’m used to the 20” rims and Michelin tires. I really like the Texas edition wheels.
Any opinions would be appreciated.
I’m considering the premiere edition with the Texas wheels or the 20” standard premiere wheel

They don't call them "Brickstones" for nothing. 22s can ride decently well, you just gotta get a great tire such as the Michelins. Same applies to the 20s, but the harshness is slightly reduced. i have no problem with the Alenzas in the rain, though.

I’ve run the OEM Bridgestone 22’s as well as Sentury UHP tires. The Bridgestone have a softer compound and the tread pattern holds a LOT of crap in the treads.

Both are good tires but I prefer the Sentury for the stiffer sidewall and longer wear

They are ok on dry roads, fine in the rain but an accident waiting to happen in snow.

Just to be sure we’re all on the same page. I’m interested in the bridge stones that come on the 21 Tahoe’s with the 22” rims.
alenza aos.

if I went with the 20” wheels, I’d get the Michelin at2 or defender ms

what differences do you find in the 20” and 22” wheels and tires. stiffer ride better steering?

I must be used to really crappy tires or other people like to complain. I feel like the ride is fine on 22s w/ Alenzas. Lol. We have snow here now so I have no idea what they are like in the rain.

I agree. My wifes ‘16 denali came with the 22’s and alenzas and they were just fine in my opinion. Got about 40k useful miles out of them and they performed plenty well enough through several winter seasons.
