Does anyone have a picture of the bolts I am supposed to detach? Never done this before.

You will wish you left them on when you see your ugly frame.
I also need to remove mind to do some work. I don't have a torch. Is that the bolt we have to try to undo?

What bolt? A pic would be nice to see what you are talking about.

Any bracket that attaches to the underside of the rig that is bolted on, remove them. Spray a penetrant on them the day before to help but still may break off if you have a strong enough arm and socket to try to turn them or an impact and impact socket. No need to remove the bolts attaching running board to bracket. If you are taking off and leaving off, then :grd:.

But if you are removing from the bracket and leaving the bracket for future reinstall of the running board then good ******* luck with all that rust.
