Hi,

Just picked up a 2013 SSV 4x4 which replaced my semi-tired 2003 Tahoe LS 4.8 that I owned since new. I have been lurking around this site off and on for a few years-mostly for info on items that were starting to show the age on the old 'Hoe....

I am trying to keep SSV fairly low key and running a black/white scheme with the wheels and trim all in black with Black interior. Will be looking for some OE running boards as well in the near future as I continue to civilianize my new ride.

Currently live in Central Florida but will be relocating to southern New Hampshire before Halloween!

Keep the shiny side up!

Welcome to the forum from Oregon and like @Rocket Man said, please post pics of inside and out.

We recommend that you put all your rig(s) info in your signature so we all don’t have to guess at year, make, model, engine size, trans, rear axle locker…….etc. While you may have posted pertinent info in your first post, you may forget to do it again and the info is needed by us anyway. Makes it way easier on all members that attempt to help, to have that info right up front. It is also recommended that you take a pic of your RPO codes, on the inside cover of the glove box, and post that image in your signature. All this info will greatly help those that will try to help with a problem.

If there is any other info, like upgrades, mods or recent mechanical/maintenance work done, that would be helpful in any post as well. Too many times a question is asked by the poster and after about 10 responses we find out that the poster has done recent work to attempt to fix the problem or work that was done that SEEMS not related to the problem.

Welcome from Miami Beach Scott!

Don't forget to check out the 2007-2014 SSV&PPV section.

Do not blame you for moving to a cooler climate. This year has been miserable weather wise with the jungle humidity and constant monsoon rain.

Thanks for tips for posting-will update my signature with additional pertinent info. Luckily, I saw someone on this site post how to get a build sheet directly from GM so I do have all my RPOs decoded. I started to do it myself before seeing a post about and what a chore that was searching, reading, documenting. So far, my major change has been wheel and tires and leather seats with ctr console...Oh, got a DIC switch as recommended by many!

Welcome to the Forum from NH. Really pleased to read that you will be coming to the Granite State. I, too, live in southern NH.

Lots of knowledgeable folks here who freely share their knowledge, experiences, and perspectives. Knowledge is power.

I hope that you will become a participating member in the Forum's discussions. => Less lurking and more participating. :)

Pics, please.

I am buying a house in Merrimack-where are you located? I posted a question in the regional section about trusted dealers in the New England area to do BCM mods-any suggestions?

I live in Hollis, a town right NEXT to Merrimack. My son lives in Merrimack, and he's married to a woman who's father owns an auto/truck repair shop in Merrimack, and their work quality is outstanding, so your need for a dealer, and their high prices, will be much reduced.

Upon your arrival, I'll give you a new house-warming gift. It is called a snow shovel. :)
