Bumping an old thread but I recently got my 16 xl denali tuned in person by Chuck at Corvettes of Westchester.
Absolutely love the truck. Throttle difference is night and day

Good to know.

Is it a one-time tune, or will they re-tune it for free, each time that you add a future mod?

Chuck will retune if youre unhappy with the outcome first time around. Similar to what i think blackbear does with online tunes (at least what I gathered from reading posts, have no personal experience with a blackbear tune).
As for future mods I think there's an additional cost to retune.

I got an AFE stage 2 intake prior to tuning so he dialed in everything pretty good. If I were to get headers later on I'd probably pay and get a retune from him.

I have HP Tuners and only did a trans tune and it was amazing. With Intake and Gibson exhaust and tune I dropped .7 seconds off my 0-60 time and now with the air off I get rubber in second. If anybody is interested I can send a copy of my HP tuners file.

does the trans have a slight hesitation right before the harder shift ?

i tuned my 2011 and had this, the solenoid timing was slightly overlapped, and needed to adjust to correct before issues.
