As for the original equipment...
I think these are all of the related RPO codes...

UK6 RADIO CONTROL REAR SEAT & EARPHONE JACKS
UPF WIRELESS INTERFACE SHORT RANGE, VOICE REC
UQA SPEAKER SYSTEM PREMIUM PERFORMANCE ENHANCED AUDIO
UVA RADIO AM/FM STEREO, SEEK/SCAN, AUTO TONE, CD, CD-R MP3, DVD, CLOCK, ETR, RDS
U2K DIGITAL AUDIO SYSTEM S-BAND
U42 ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM REAR SEAT,SINGLE DISPLAY,REM CONTROL W/HEADPHONE

The PO also gave me the original deck with the sale, i have it sitting on a shelf in my home office.
the current deck: Pioneer AVIC-5201NEX
I love this deck. :)

I also have the speakers on the A pillar with "bose" on them.
but i don't see that marked on the original radio, nor anything about bose in the rpo codes.
possible it was added with the pioneer HU?

UQA is the standard Bose system

Y91 is the highend/digital Bose system

Your truck shouldn't have the speaker in the center of the dash.

The Y91 has the "smart" amp and the center channel speaker in the dash.

Have you checked all the settings on the HU?

My Kenwood has all kinds of different options for rear seat output and if it isn't set correctly it won't act right.

You’ve got the remnants of someone’s piss poor install. Consider taking it to a shop that doesn’t use t-tap wire connections for installs.

You may stave off some damage to your system that hasn’t occurred yet if you have a pro look it over.

I played with this a little over the weekend.
I have not yet pulled the Head Unit out to take a look to see what was installed etc.

The tv screen is a single that's attached to the roof, folds down etc.

However i did find a good set of headphones to test the jacks out.
Both rear Jacks don't appear to work at all.

Playing around with the replacement/aftermarket wireless headphones...
While testing i noticed that if i have a dvd playing, and the main screen on the pioneer unit has the movie playing as well.
If the headphones have channel "A" selected i get full stereo out of them!
The volume also increases when i turn up the main volume.
With this i also have the main speakers playing the same thing, going up with the headphones...

if i change the HU to play the radio, i then need to select channel B in order to continue playing the DVD
Channel A will play the radio, pretty much clones what ever the HU has selected
but with the single side playing...
sounds like the rse rca cable coming out of the headunit is only connected on one side, I think on ch a it will play off the main out and on ch b it only plays off of the rse output.
you will be able to tell right away as soon as you pull that headunit out enough to reach the cables and check them.

when you get that far and if it looks like the cables are ok, then swap the left right rca cables and see if you still get the same result then you will know if it is the headunit or something after it.

I tinkered around with different settings in the HU, but nothing seemed to help.
I don't have a speaker in the center of the dash, just the two on the a pillar.

I also played around with my new tech 2 today.
Found it could not connect to the BOSE amp, not sure if that's because i don't have the original radio installed, or if it's just not present.

No code found in the RSA panel, i clicked buttons for a bit using educated guesing for the most part, all seems in order.

I did notice my rear screen is way fkn hot, w/ no dvd in the radio!
I think i may start keeping the Rear output "off" to see if it helps...

also, the tech 2 is fkn cool!

Next i'll pull the HU...
I also got a code for the rear lift gate, fails diagnostics.
Using the "special function" and cycling the lift gate up and down, i see a "hall sensor" short to ground when operating.
I have a strong feeling it's the hack job of an install, and i bet the power the installer tapped into for the rear camera is related... wild guessing here.

I need to go through the entire install, probably before the truck catches fire.

A hall effect sensor is basically a switch that uses magnetic fields to vary voltage output. They are used for proximity sensing, positioning, and speed detection.....like when to stop the tailgate or how fast it goes or if it’s open or closed.... some shit like that.

I tinkered around with that RCA to jack adapter mess a little.
I found that if i unplug the connector so just the center part is still connected, but the outer is not.
Then i get stereo.

I also get a lot of interference no matter how it's connected.
So, i have a new adapter on order...
