only complaint I have is how big of a difference the shade is. I don't know why that vent cover is a different shade from the dash

That extension ( vent cover) looks the same color as the airbag but they’re both way different from the dash. I would visit the dealer and ask them wtf. Looks like the dash is the wrong color.

I remember watching this video and I planned on using it when I finally got a good deal on a dash, now the video is gone lol.

I have a cracked section on my '13 SSV and planning to use the hot staple gun. I purchased a less broken dash for my '03 (discontinue GM part) and stitched it together as well as used clear epoxy reinforce the seam. I also used a dremel to cut of the tabs of the metal staples to make it flat. It was pretty easy repair and looks decent on an 18 year old 'Hoe!
