I am thinking of changing mine as well. I think the 880 can be replaced with an 881 even.

First lesson I learned is that LED bulb size 5202 is sold universally as ps24w, psx24... shoot, even the stock halogen I pulled out says ps24wff on it. Bought 3 different sets from different sources the other night and the 3rd set arrived today and each set is psx24 size.

Comparing the bulb surround between the LED and stock halogen; it's evident a guy can remove the vertical tab and get'er da go without leaking, but as a cautionary - you'll want to be aware of the idiots that sell these. Here's a photo of the tab i'm going to remove and test:

You don't want the fog lights to shine up high, they are designed to shine right over the driving surface so you can see during a fog!
Most people don't understand the concept of a foglight. To them it's a "driving light."
Iirc, many areas it is a infraction.

Too true. Driving lights are white. Fog lights are yellow!

I tried a few sets of fog light bulbs until I bought the below Xeon depot bulbs in the 5000K color...AMAZING output! A little pricey for fog bulbs but after using them I’d pay double for them again! They are so bright I don’t usually run them when driving in traffic - mainly because I get people flashing their brights at me because they are so bright! So I did the ‘all lights mod’ so when my Hi beams are on it turns on the Lows and Fogs all at the same time and I leave my lights on ‘auto’ dim for approaching traffic (heavy deer populations in my area at night!) and you’d think I have a high power light bar with the amount of light I now have at night (I also upgraded my lows to matching 5000K bulbs)....highly recommend!

I was looking for some fog light LEDs for my Yukon, I saw these bulb that you got and they say that they are 8 watts and 800 lumens per bulb. I was looking at some Lasfit ones that say they are 30 watts and 3800 lumens per bulb. You say that the ones that you have are really bright and you get flashed by other drivers. I am not sure which ones to go with now. I would imagine that the Lasfit ones are REALLY bright if they claim they are 3800 lumens per bulb. Have you had any issues with them so far?

TIA

1+ for Lasfit. I'v been running their 60W 7600LM fogs for almost two years now and they are still going strong.

I they really bright? like too bright that you get flashed? I was just wondering because of the wattage they seem like they would be as bright as low beams. Just curious.

Fog lights should be aimed towards the ground and not aimed high enough to shine in anybody’s eyes. If they do that they’re either aimed wrong or the wrong type of light, it’s like using HID in reflector headlights. If the fog lights are scattering then something is wrong.

They are insanely bright. I could easily drive with just my fog lights on.

Nope, I drive allot at night and haven't had any problems with getting flashed. Like Rocket man said, you just have to be sure that your fog light housings are aimed correctly, it doesn't matter what fog lights you get, if they are aimed high you will get flashed inevitably.
