my driver door lock switch no longer unlocks the vehicle, but the locking half does work. Very annoying since I now have to use the key for to unlock when I am sitting in the driver seat at to let someone in.

Does anyone know if I have to pull the entire panel off to remove the switch and inspect? If so, how does it come off? Just checking before I attempt to remove and break something. Thx.

You have to remove the door panel for access, I think. Check for you tube video of it. It makes sense you would have to remove panel to access the switch attachment area and of course the wiring to it. The panel itself, that the switch is mounted may be able to be removed without the entire door panel removal.

There was a youtube for a 2015 Silverado if I recall. Same process and you definitely need to watch or you will break something.

I realized searching for a similar year tahoe lock will give the same results after hours of looking for yukon videos. This will be an easy fix once I locate a new lock switch.

Thx for the help!

Glad you found a video. I had to use the Silverado one a few years ago since it was the only one I could find. Good luck with the repair..
