The power seat won't move forward while the up/down and lumbar controls work fine.

I found the cause of the problem but I don't know how to fix it.
Took the seat out and found that the traveler (go back and forth on the long screw drives like a garage door opener) on the right side is not in sync with the one on the left.
I detached one traveler and set them even with each other but after 3-4 moves back and forth, the one on the right side would be about 1/2 to an inch behind. This is causing the seat slides to bind.
The same motor drives both sides and the rods going into the little gear boxes don't seem to be slipping.

Bonus repair - when I took the seat out, there was an electrical connector on the right side that was disconnected. Reattached it and this fixed my Service Airbag System warning. 20200726_123559.jpg 20200726_123604.jpg 20200726_123607.jpg

knowing gm there is probably a plastic gear inside there that is cracked or stripped, maybe try moving the seat all the way to the end and reset both sides and try again.

My seat doesn't have these parts (circled in red). Could this be something they added after 2007 and maybe what keeps this from happening?
BTW - P/N 22804419 6 way power seat adjuster track

Follow-up. Found a replacement at the local Pick-n-Pull junkyard. Also from a 2007 Tahoe LS but it did have 8-way power seats (+ lumbar control in the back of the seat). It also had the extra gear box controls like the pic above. Finally figured out that these are for the seat memory (which I don't have). I used my wiring harness and simply didn't connect anything to the memory controllers. Unfortunately, it seems that my problem may be common as the gear boxes on the new part were also not working (worse than mine - the motor works and the motor shaft spins but the screws don't turn at all. The other two motors/adjusters worked fine even without connecting the memory controllers. Looks like I might be stuck paying $450 for a new part. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product...&pf_rd_p=edaba0ee-c2fe-4124-9f5d-b31d6b1bfbee
