Should I be alarmed I found a little metal shavings on my oil magnet. I put a brand new oil plug on my Tahoe and that is what I found. The amount was very little but noticeable. I am freakin here.

A little is normal. Show us a picture and send a sample into
https://www.blackstone-labs.com for an analysis. They will tell you what’s going on and if your engine has any issues with wear. You need to follow their directions exactly when pulling a sample.
I don't have a picture I was just thinking after I did the oil change. But on the next one I will. It is not like it was covered the whole magnet tip just a little .
You’ll have to wait now that you changed your oil. The sample should be taken at an oil change interval but you can do it at 500-1000 miles.Napa gold and Castrol syntec high milage. I will send sample in.
You didn’t just ask if he found aluminum on the magnet did you?Probably, got a picture? Can you tell what if it's aluminum or nickel or?
