My electric start quit turning my Yukon 2009 on to cool my truck down. I press the button on the key, the truck blinks, but won't turn the truck on. I was wondering about a fuse. Any Ideas?

You mean remote start? What do you mean to cool your truck down? That’s such a confusing statement.

The way I understand it he is saying his remote start is not working so he can't start it to get his air conditioning going before he gets in the truck. If you have a check engine light on or another light on the dash the truck will flash the lights and not turn on. Check for MIL lights and fix the issue first.

Good luck.

Welcome Robert. Any check engine lights? Anything that will set the CEL will turn off remote start to protect the engine. If the dash light is not on, have someone run a scan for codes stored in the BCM, the Remote Control Door Lock Receiver module and see what it says. A Tech-2 is the kind of tool used for this.

Make sure you lock the vehicle before you try to start it with the key fob. After it’s locked hold down the remote start button for 2-3 seconds.
