Dang Craigslist...
Stumbled on a heck-of-a deal for a 1987 Fiero GT in pretty darn good condition for just over $1k.

Spent a few more hours back at the shop giving her a complete exam and firing it up.

Now for the hard part... Making a firm decision to either Build it or Flip it. The decisions us car guys must make....

Video - 87 Fiero Purchase, Build or FLIP?

My uncle had one and I used to borrow it for weeks at a time, fun little car to drive but even in my youth getting in and out of that got old. But you're used to that Ken driving a Corvette and all! LOL

Currently, my buddy's son has a GT and it's his weekend cruiser and toy. I've got the perfect motor for one sitting in my driveway, an LZ9 with a 4T65E, 240 horsepower of high winding fun!

@swathdiver , did you know the electric fan on these can be used in the GN? Same thing.

I think that is becoming more true - especially steering rack and brake parts...

Your avatar is a keeper!
ya the brakes is where he ran into one roadblock had to end up sending them out for a rebuild, I think he managed to find a clutch and some used steering parts somewhere

Grand National - one of the few cool cars from the 80's...

And now the question. Is the 3.8 a Chevy engine, Buick engine, Pontiac engine?

After pondering it for 2 weeks I decided to test the waters with selling it. I fixed both headlights, put in an alternator and cleaned it up. Sold in one day.... Looking for another vehicle to build or flip....
