Has anyone experienced abs coming on at speeds of 5mph or less? I cleaned the sensors but it prevails. As i come to a stop the abs activates and wont let me come to a standstill easily.

Has the recall for the brakes been performed? If so did they replace the vacuum pump? If not it may not be the ABS but the brakes themselves failing due to low vacuum assist. This was a major issues that affected nearly every full size SUV and truck of GM from 2014-2018. If the work has not been done schedule a day with your dealer and get it in before you end up in a slow speed accident in a parking lot.

Recall (software calibration) has been performed. No physical hardware has been changed. Itll need an inspection I guess but is the vaccum pump replacement a warranty item?

should be. Dealer can get it covered as well as part of the recall. My 2016 was at 95k miles when I took it in for the recall. They did the software end and also replaced the vacuum pump and the stretch belt for it.

Also as above me stated it could be a bad hub as well. But the failed pump will cause a hard and pulsing pedal and so could a bad hub sensor.

Does your vehicle make a tic on startup?

There are several ticking noises but nothing out of the ordinary. Hubs seem fine as well. There is however a huge sucking noise when i downshift or at higher rpms. It sounds like something is impeding airflow and ots progressive and consistent with the rpm. Best way to describe it is a whoosh or muffled intake noise, could that be related to the vacume pump?
