Glad to hear you got it figured out. That’s about the easiest solution you could hope for.
yeah i got that code again P016B

but it was not just the air filter the intake tube was not seated correctly on the throttle body I took another looked at a photo i took before. cleaning there was some caked on dirt on the outer edge... so i resit the tube and clamp (i used a socket this time to tighten it)

it could explain why taking off the filter an other stuff "fixed" it for a couple of days then the issue returning... i have been driving around without that vacuum issue or engine revving when taking foot off the brake..

i used a socket to tighten it down instead of a screw driver

i think it's the Aux transmission pump when it was stalled i did not hear it running. as it stalled from a auto resume the 3 times it happened

as it should be running with key on

i'm waiting for @lt1gmc

to come on so i can find out where the connectors are as he claimed unplugging them and reconnecting it fixes the autostop lag

@BG1988 I had crazy electrical issues including truck not starting to losing power on the freeway after a carwash one day. It ended up being the negative battery cable. I could tell because when I jiggled it my electrics would flicker.
pretty sure it was the throttle body i replaced it last night I was not able to reproduce the issue

I turned on everything that normally causes it the issues it happened with the A/C on 60 degrees F

I put the AC , the rear A/C , i Put it to 60F(this will add an additional regeneration load)

i went aroun for about 15 miles then stopped on the side of the road and did a stopped and go simulation.(this is a trigger )

later today i'm going to the trader joes (9 time out of 10 i had the issue when i went there, it will be an official test)

i did go to 75mph (25mph over)on the boulevard it was able to get to 5000 rpm (only for a few seconds i did it don't want to damage it) before it would struggle to do 3,000 rpm

I discovered a new way to relearn the new one without using the computer ,tech2 or 200-300 miles drive it only took a few seconds to do

make sure the battery is disconnected

put new Throttle body

reconnect cables

reconnect battery

ACC then KEY ON (No starting) depress the gas peddle to the floor then let go.
then switch back to ACC
do it 10x and the throttle is relearned

200 IQ bro....
