Does anyone know what the difference(s)s is/are in the steering wheels for the 07-08 and the 09-14? I'm looking into getting new steering wheels before they get discontinued and there are different part numbers for each year range. The steering wheel for my 08 is only available in the non-heated version in the 07-08 part number but the heated one is available in the 09-14 part number. The price is within $10 of each other so even though I don't really need the heated one in GA since the price is so close and mine came with it I would like to have it if it'll work. The connectors are the same, the wiring colors are the same, and the switches appear to be the same. I also found the steering wheel for the hybrid is about $100 cheaper, it isn't heated but for a $100 savings I'd give it up if that one will work.

To go from non heated to heated I do believe you have to change the clock spring also...

You do but I will be going from heated to non-heated unless the 09-14 heated steering wheel will work on my 08.

the hybrid has a 48 volt Electrical Rack and pinion system.. 2-Kw
feels way better then hydraulic system sure it's better then the cheesy 12 volt system on the newer ones (K2xx) that had a recall for overheating and reduced power mode(per the recall update)

I’m not asking about the steering gear I’m asking about the steering wheel.

it's the same it has the controls on it for the radio and cruse control, no heat..

chances are it's not going to work as the connector is changed when something is added

Right but looks alone doesn’t mean it will work. An Acadia steering looks the same but it doesn’t attach to the steering column the same way.

I got to check out a hybrid steering wheel and it has some sort of counter weight or possibly vibration absorbing device behind the horn pad. It’s a heavy soft mounted metal piece. It does look like it’ll probably work on a non-hybrid but I’m not going to take the chance. I decided I’d rather have a new front bumper instead of a new steering wheel for now anyway.
