I have a 11 yukon xl and see differing info out there. Is there a cabin filter from the factory installed or will I only have one if the retrofit was done? If not from the factory, is the retrofit doable by a dyi’er? Anyone do a how-to?

GM#22759208 FILTER KIT, PASS COMPT AIR (DOOR W/ BOLT) FILTER separate
$44.07

Will have to cut out the plate to install filter, really easy. a good box cutter with a new blade will do the job.

You can pick up the retrofit kit and filter at Rock Auto for $44. It is a fairly simple job to perform. You will need a sharp utility knife blade. Many folks here, including myself, have successfully performed this retrofit.

If you get the other Dorman kit with the charcoal activated filter, it's a 39 dorrah.
