Steven, I just found this check it out. I didn’t read everything but maybe there is something in here that can help you move the seat.

Power direct to seat, with a jump box and short wire lead, and while it’s probably hard to get to connections, is probably the best way.

Next I would try to unbolt, I know hard again, but probably the only way to get to connections.

I’ll try to find a electrical schematic somewhere upstream of the seat, like kick panel or something, maybe apply power there.... I’ll look.

Awesome thanks. I finally got to the ddm and dsm fuses and they were good. Bigger problem happened towing boat yesterday. A hard jerk left under braking. Lots of ups and downs on the way to and from the lake. Pretty hairy 4500 lbs pushing and dang surge brake decided to puke fluid. Had wife, kids, and grandchild. Made it home safe. Whew!!

it didn’t. I tried just about every reset possible including fuses, battery, door, and seat connections. The difference is none of my seat controls work individually or in memory. Yours sounds like the memory control module is bad or may just have a loose wire. You might be able to access yours with the seat all the way up and back. I had to remove the seat. I got mine to move enough for me to drive it but it locked up again so I have more to do. See if your mirrors move when you hit the other preset.

You very well could have a bad seat switch. I’ve had to replace both sides on each of the 4 GMT900’s I’ve owned.

If all the other functions work except going forward, check to see if you can hear a motor trying to spin. If you do, then you might have a stripped gear in your seat mechanism. More than likely, you will not which would indicate a switch issue.

If you try to reset the memory does it work? Unlike mine your seat controls work so give that a try. Each remote has its own memory position so when you unlock it goes to that position.

An update. The seat moved from time to time, thank God, but memory and pedals never did so I ordered a new driver’s seat memory control module. As James stated it’s a PITA to get out. Anyway, put new one in and now the memory button won’t even beep nor does the seat or pedals move. I did disconnect the battery while doing this. Anyone know if this thing needs programming in order to work?
