Got 295k out of a 4L60 its possible but rare. 2WD is lighter and easy to work on don't rush into buying one until you find what your looking for. I spent six weeks looking until I found one from Texas.
Most likely the same here! I’m happy everything is working out for you!

I bought an 05 Yukon about 4 years ago. The one thing I wish I had known about was the 706 Castech head cracking issue. Several ongoing threads here on that now. Have a look at those.

Great truck. Had a gmt800 2001 yukonXL. Had it for 276K and was running great when it left me. Transmission went out at about 220k. I love that body style, has more room than the 2019 suburban I have.

Got 295k out of a 4L60 its possible but rare. basically if the truck has ever towed more than a jet-ski you will never see that kind of miles. RWD is lighter, easy to work on and handle great. don't rush into buying one until you find what your looking for. I spent six weeks looking until I found one from Texas. Working on the Truck is almost fun everything comes apart.

Never say never, and I'll knock on wood. ;)

I'm at 317k original factory trans in my 04 Z71 Tahoe. I've towed a 21' speed boat to the river numerous times, along with a flatbed trailer with Polaris Rzr or a long travel dune buggy to the desert in the 6 years I've owned this Tahoe. I've drained the pan about 4 times since I've owned the Tahoe and top off with around 4 quarts of fresh ATF. A little maintenance and paying attn to how it's shifting has netted me way more miles out of the trans than I ever expected.

If the engine wasn't puking oil, it would be the perfect Tahoe. Instead of finding and fixing the oil leaks and past coolant loss problem on the 5.3, I decided to just build a 6.0 long block to drop in it's place. I suspect the trans will have to be attended to shortly thereafter.

YMMV....

You forgot to read the little disclaimer tag on the new 6.0 engine about the likelihood of a blown trans after the 6.0 install. Plus, you probably knew something like that would happen and you decided to go for it anyway. Always embrace the "POWER".
