Ok, updates: I have bought the Milwaukee Tools 1/2", 3/8" impacts and a 3/8" ratchet. I got a free Craftsman older air compressor that does work and will use that till it konks out. I have added to the hand tools and specialty tools and diagnostic tools. I start on the Honda clutch job next weekend. Parts are all supposed to be here tomorrow from RA. The word has gotten out and I have tenants getting with me about work on their vehicles. This whole endeavor is to keep me busy during the spring and summer. It is not in an enclosed shop so no heat in the fall and winter. It is on a level long concrete slab that is covered on half of that with a vaulted ceiling car port. I plan on using the battery powered tools for the whole job so I will have a feeling for them when I am done. Hope this old body can keep up with it but I feel great and am motivated.

Update on the use of my tools: I got them for this reason:

Since I bought them and put the word out that I am open for accepting jobs at a fee of $50 an hour, I have installed a clutch assembly in a 2012 Honda Civic si 2.4 engine.

I have removed and installed the lower engine splash cover on a 2012 Tucson. Also going to be doing new front fender wells and left/right splash shields on the same rig.

Complete front and rear brake job on a 2012 F150 4x4 with new rotors and pads and brake fluid flush.

Installed MAF and MAP on that 2012 Honda Civic si, cleared codes and verified codes stayed away after 2 days of driving at various speeds.

New running borads and mud shields on a new 2020 Chevy Colorado 4x4 Z71.

Disassembled and fixed a bad hinge on a rear gate on a 2015 Jeep Rubicon.

Next weekend, one of my storage tenants is having me do a water pump, radiator, trans filter service, thermostat, cooling flush, new belts and oil change on his 96 Ford F150 RWD. We have already ordered all parts from RA.

After that, one of my American Legion buddies is having me change out his charge air cooler on his 2006 F250 diesel, again, parts are ordered and coming from RA.

Plus, I have 2 tenants scheduled to see me about working on their vehicles.

Yea. I don't take on major work because I don't want the vehicle sitting here. I never go to a customer's house or wherever the rig may be. They come only to me and it is my way or they take off. I will not do band aids on anything. It has to be the way I fix it or not at all. I am not a retail shop. I am just making side money and doing what I like to do. That clutch job was a ***** though. I was on my back for two days. That job was a 6 hour, maybe, job on a lift but on my back, was a PITA. I was my friend at the American Legion so I wanted to help and he had to be my "go fer". Plus, each night after the job he took me out for a steak dinner and still paid all my fees.

Luckily, the owner here is ok with what I do but doesn't want tore apart vehicles sitting around. I feel the same way.
