Heat randomly comes on when using AC

One time i had a passenger with me and he said it felt like it was still blowing AC from the second row vents and pass side but it was deff blowing heat from the front. When this happens i can shut the truck off and restart it and it will be back to blowing AC again.

Any idea what would cause this ? My guess was the climate controll unit but i figured i would ask here before i just start throwing parts at it.
